Connecting Generation, Storage and Grid at Solar & Storage Live 2026

Next month, CMP returns to the NEC in Birmingham for Solar & Storage Live 2026.

From 22nd-24th September, we will be showcasing our cable management solutions for the solar energy and BESS market. From grounding and protection through to secure routing and reliable termination, CMP helps to connect the whole system – making us your complete cable management partner.

Find us at Stand D49, where our team of experts will be on hand to discuss our extensive product range, including cable glands and accessories, cable cleats, and cable lugs and tools. As the solar energy and battery storage industry continues to grow, the demands placed on equipment and infrastructure are growing. Increasing power densities and system complexity, combined with exposure to harsh environments make reliability critical at every stage. Failures can lead to costly downtime, meaning every component must be designed to perform consistently under pressure.

Across the system, each stage brings its own challenges as energy moves from generation through to storage and into the grid. In solar arrays and combiner boxes, large volumes of cable must be organised and protected from the elements to ensure consistent performance. As power flows through inverters and transformers, higher loads require strong, secure connections and effective grounding. Battery storage systems add further complexity, with heat and pressure changes requiring careful management to maintain protection. Throughout every stage, CMP supports with solutions that provide protection, secure routing, reliable termination and safe grounding – connecting generation, storage and grid.
