CMP People Come Together for 36-Hour Cycle Challenge in Support of a Great Cause

Last week, employees from CMP came together as one to collectively cycle the entire length of Great Britain non-stop for 36 hours on two static bikes – all in support of the FACT charity. Together, we successfully raised over £500.

Taking on the virtual journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats, the team successfully covered over 880 miles. The challenge began at 7am on 19th May and finished at 7pm on 20th May, with 105 of CMP’s people taking part. Many colleagues even went the extra mile by completing more than one time slot, helping to keep the momentum going throughout the challenge.

Speaking about the cycle challenge, Katherine Rowell, Culture Champion at CMP said: “We were delighted to see so many of our people dedicate their time to take part in this challenge. Not only did it promote health and wellbeing across the team, but it also brought colleagues together to raise valuable funds and awareness for a fantastic cause – all while having fun in the process.”

CMP’s hard work in this cycle challenge marks a fantastic milestone in our fundraising efforts. Our Culture Champions, who have been instrumental in organising and driving these activities, have plenty more planned in the months ahead. We remain determined to continue making a positive impact in our community.

Well done, Team CMP!
