CMP Apprentice Shortlisted for Business Administration Apprentice of the Year
On 16th October 2025, recently qualified apprentice Caisey Dixon was shortlisted for Business Administration Apprentice of the Year at the TDR Trust Apprenticeship Awards in Newcastle. The event brought together apprentices and employers from across the North East region to celebrate excellence in engineering, manufacturing, and science.
Joining CMP in October 2023, Caisey has been studying a Business Administration Level 3 course through TDR. Throughout the course, she has established strong relationships with customers and colleagues, working with key stakeholders within the organisation.

When asked about her achievements, Caisey said: “I am delighted to have been shortlisted for this award with my efforts being recognised by both CMP and TDR. Since starting with the business, I’ve learnt so much, both personally and professionally. And in recent months, I’ve had the opportunity to progress even further; including training a recent graduate in their new role.”
Having experienced first-hand the benefits of being an apprentice, gaining real-life work experience, whilst receiving a wage, and continuing to study with TDR, has led to Caisey becoming a STEM ambassador at CMP. Being a strong advocate for the next generation of talent, Caisey has attended schools and colleges alongside our Learning and Development team to promote apprenticeships being a great path for young people to develop a career, sharing the opportunities CMP has to offer.
Caisey’s post-apprenticeship role at CMP is a Quotations Co-ordinator. The position requires her to utilise many of the skills learnt during her course – covering everything from time management and multitasking to key attention to detail and being able to offer the correct technical solution for the given task or challenge at hand.
Commenting on Caisey’s latest success, Clare Taylor, Customer Services Manager at CMP said: “We are so pleased with Caisey’s hard work and commitment to professional development. Since joining CMP, she has shown outstanding skills, whether that is planning her apprenticeship work or forming client relationships. She is a valued member of our team, and it is great to see her achievements recognised at this awards dinner. We look forward to the next chapter of Caisey’s future at CMP, as she has already shown real potential to be a future leader in the business.”
As we celebrate Caisey’s achievement, we’d like to thank TDR for championing emerging talent and acknowledge the dedication of our mentors and teams who help apprentices thrive. Congratulations to Caisey whose hard work and professionalism make a real difference at CMP.
