The CMP Products Texas Inc. armor clamping technique offers a level of reliability, and inspectability, that is unrivalled. The armor cone and AnyWay™ clamping ring are designed to be fully tightened, metal-to-metal, in a ‘Right First Time’ termination that securely captivates the armor wires in the crimping process.

CMP Products Texas Inc. Cable Glands’ internal armor termination is engineered to secure on installation for the life-time of the product, providing added cable security. They are designed to terminate a range of armor sizes in all available forms including single wire armor, pliable wire armor, wire braid, strip and tape armors.

The specific ranges shown on the product pages of this website indicate which armor cone should be used for a given armor type, size and application. CMP Products Texas Inc. ‘SWA’ armor cone clamping ranges closely follow the specified armor wire criteria in IEC 605021, as well as BS & AS/NZS standards. However in cases where the cable is non-standard, alternative armor clamping components for oversized and undersized armor wires are available upon request.
